Increase of land Victoria transfer of land fees

From the 1st July 2016 fees charged by the Land Titles Office to lodge Transfers of Land will increase dramatically if the purchase price is over $500,000.00, whereas prior to now, there was no increase in fees if there was any amount over $500,000.00.

However, from now on, any property sold up to $1,500,000.00 will be subject to the increase fees, noting a total maximum of $3,602.70 being the maximum available now, compared to $1,369.00 being the previous value before the 1st July 2016.
